#LearnToLight is Garry's own brand of workshop in which he brings quality lighting techniques, right from the basics of turning the light on - up to the usage of inverse square law and making a light work for you.
Often explained as 'A lighting workshop on steroids' Garry's 20 plus years of working in the industry pours out and the information given in these sessions are transferable skills helping you to set up in any environment. And when coupled with our models for the day with give you some portfolio ready pieces.

During this workshop we aim to take you through;
• Setting up the studio
• Why we choose the light
• On the fashion shoot - Keeping it simple for e-commerce
• On the fashion shoot - Shooting for commercial websites
• On the fashion shoot - Developing an image for a brand
• Working with dancers - Just 1 light simplicity
• Working with dancers - Creative lighting set ups
• Understanding DOF and Hyper-focal distance
• Sports in the studio - Fitness
• Sports in the studio - Adding effects with light
• Working with nudes - Concealed vs Implied
• Working with nudes - Low key and Hi key
This session is aimed to give you transferrable skills that you can take to any studio and simply recreate. Giving you a great lighting techniques that can be used in a variety of situations.
With our knowledge, equipment and hand picked models, Your creativity will be unleashed & the results will be first class.
Our Leicester studio is fully equipped with high end lighting equipment, and range of modifiers, gels and grids to help control your lights, wind machines, smoke machines, white and black full length backdrops and not forgetting our lighting and photographic tech.
Teas, coffees and biscuits will be available.

Tickets are non-refundable.
Refunds will only be available on tickets for a Cancelled Event or the inability of the Ticket Holder to attend a rescheduled Event.
If you need to cancel your attendance to an event tickets are non-refundable and only exchangeable with another user; to be dealt with at your own expense.
